 Bill had a good season this year despite the engine failure  
 (he was not out for long with the help of his sponsors)
 He finished 11th in the Spencer Speedway points,
which includes 2 wins and 5 top 5 finishes.
In the Modified car (owned by Ed McGuire), Bill actually had more rain outs than he actually got to race. He did finish 2nd in the All Star Race in Oswego, NY
